Evening Nets

An amateur radio “net” is an on-the-air gathering of amateur radio operators.  Snohomish County Hams Club sponsors a net every Sunday and Wednesday evening at 7 P.M. on the club repeater. The club operates two repeaters. One is in the VHF band and the other in the UHF band. Click the Repeater Link below for the information you will need for your transceiver so it can access our repeaters. If you find you can’t reach the VHF repeater from your location, consider using Echolink. If you haven’t used it before, Echolink lets you connect to any repeater in the world over the internet. You can use it from your PC or cell phone. For the PC software, click here. For the cell phone, just download the app for your cell phone from the Google Play store or the Apple store. When you install it, you will be prompted on how to register and set it up. Every amateur radio operator is welcome to check in to these three nets.

Sunday net is analog FM only on the VHF repeater

Wednesday net is Digital FM only on the UHF repeater.

On the nets, we share announcements of interest to the club and each station has a chance to speak about how their day/week has been and share any news they might have.  It is a friendly net where everyone is welcome.  Participating in the Evening Nets gives amateurs a chance to practice their on-air radio skills.
