E-mail reflector information

The Snohomish County Hams Club currently runs 4 separate email lists that members can choose to subscribe to in order to keep up on events related to the club.

SCHC-Announce:

This list is a one-way email distribution used only by club officers and board members for major announcements such as meeting schedules, changes, by-laws announcements, elections, etc.  Mail volume on this list is extremely low and infrequent.  All club members who supply an email address are automatically subscribed to this list.

SCHC-Members:

This list is a two-way email distribution used by all club members as an open-discussion forum for amateur radio related topics.  Tw0-way discussions such as club events (Field Day, 7QP, Salmon Run), elmer discussions, etc are held on this list.  All messages to this forum are “moderated” – i.e. – must be “approved” by a moderator before they are published.  This is to avoid accidental spam and distribution of virus or malware emails.  Mail volume on this list is moderate and varies depending on interest level in given topics.  All club members who supply an email address are automatically subscribed to this list.  Members may use the links below to un-subscribe or re-subscribe to the list at any time.

Tech-Group:

This list is a two-way email distribution available to all club members for discussion of technical-related Q&A such as the club repeater and Curt’s Tech Group meetings.  If you have a question of a technical nature, this is the place to ask it!  Members are NOT automatically subscribed to this list, but may subscribe or unsubscribe using the links below.  Mail volume on this list varies but is typically less than the overall SCHC-Members list above.

SCHC-Repeater:

This list is a two-way email distribution available to all club members for discussion of topics related to the club’s repeater system.  It is intended to allow the club’s Project Manager and/or other members interested in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the club’s repeater system to have a place for those technical discussions.  Members are NOT automatically subscribed to this list, but may subscribe or unsubscribe using the links below.  Mail volume is expected to be low for this list.
